My Pictures Show Up Blurry On My Creation, Why Is That?

Did you zoom your pictures? Zooming makes it blurry.

Currently all images are resized to 1350 pixels (on the longest side to maintain its aspect ratio) when imported into the Photo Well. If you opt to zoom your pictures, your resolution will decrease depending on how much you zoom. Your images in your final creation when played back will also have the decreased resolution. If your photo was a smaller size than 1350 (on the longest side) to start with, when it's resized to come into Smilebox (our frames are designed for that size of image) then your photo may appear blurry.

While working with Smilebox our suggestion is to add images in its original larger size.

Also search our catalog with a key word "FIT" and you will find designs that will fit your entire landscape and portrait pictures with in the frame.

Following is an example of a Zoomed photo (more blurry) using the “Image tool bar".
